Founded in 2009, the Community Police Partnership Program was designed to forge a partnership between residents and the police department in order to create a safer and more informed community.
This program holds meetings when necessary to keep residents informed of the crime picture and the latest problems and issues that the Rochester Police Department is experiencing. At these meetings, officers share information with residents to help them know what to look for and when to contact police with pertinent information.
In the years since the program has been founded, it has been very successful and aided the community in assisting the police department to make the Village safer and less susceptible to criminal activity.
